Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 3

Yay Walking Dead.  This is the longest I’ve had to wait for an episode and I can really feel it.  I know I know 6 days?  But it’s so good!

Questions from last week:
•    Will Shane and Otis get the medical supplies?
•    Will it be in time to save Carl?
•    Where the hell is Sophia?  Is she alive or is she….walking dead?  (Badum-chh)
•    WTF did Jenner whisper to Rick?!

Hopefully we’ll get some answers in my Walking Dead 02×03 review: Read more…

They released some new Hunger Games Posters today!  I can’t wait until March 23 when I get to see this movie for real.

Here’s Rue!  Behind the cut there’s Cinna (!!!), Effie and Haymitch.  (Because I’m sure you’ve seen Katniss, Gayle, Peeta and I don’t remember who Cato is…oops)

Off Book: Video Games PBS Arts

October 26, 2011 Leave a comment

This PBS short documentary discusses video games as art. The video features NYU’s Eric Zimmerman, game designer and researcher Jesper Juul, Kotaku contributor Leigh Alexander and game designer Syed Salahuddin. As an aspiring game artist and avid video game player, it’s important to me that video games be recognized as art.  They should be classified in the same field as books, movies and music. The amount of work that goes into making a AAA title contains as much work as making a book and a movie. Just because the game takes place in another world does not mean it shouldn’t be recognized in the real world.

HBO Picks Up Dark Tower Miniseries

October 26, 2011 Leave a comment

HBO has picked up a miniseries based on Stephen King’s series The Dark Tower. Originally planned as three movies, the project has moved to a miniseries due to a decreased budget. Producer Brian Grazer remains optimistic saying that they will do TV with HBO for now and do a movie with an undetermined studio later. Javier Bardem, star of No Country for Old Men, is cast to play the main character Roland Deschain.

Once Upon a Time Season 1 Episode 1

October 25, 2011 Leave a comment

I’m excited for this show.  All i know is its about like parallel worlds?  The real world and the fairytale world.  And cameron from house is in it along with ginnifer goodwinn and they forgot that they’re fairy tale characters.  I hope its not too twee for me, but I don’t really think there’s a high risk of that because I kind of love whimsy.

Onto my review for the pilot episode of Once Upon a Time

Improv Ninja Challenge [VID]

I don’t want to ruin anything but be careful of a sole ninja challenging you to a foam sword fight. Remember, there’s something suspicious about a ninja you can actually see.

Rockstar Games Announces GTA V

Ten years after GTA III was released, Rockstar announced that they will release GTA V. A trailer is set for release on November 2. I can’t wait to see which racial stereotype they will use for this one.
